Drone Rules apply in Saudi Arabia. Drone operators must gain permission to fly from the GACA for all flying (hobby and commercial).

April 2018: Drone rules are being updated in Saudi regions due to an incident of an illegal drone flying around the Royal Palace. Until up-dated regulations are in place, all persons wishing to fly a drone must either apply with the Saudi CAA as standard (follow above link to GACA), or gain permission from the local police.
