In Belarus there is little information about drone operations. Within their Air Code of the Republic of Belarus, Article 42 details some information on drone operators. (Not to be confused with Article 43 'Rights operator UAV' as this is not related to drones at all.
Article 42 . The operator of a drone
- The operator of the unmanned aerial vehicle may be a person who has in the cases provided for by legislation (certificate) for the right to self-control an unmanned aerial vehicle of a certain type.
- UAV operator directly controls the unmanned aerial vehicle and taking the necessary measures to ensure the safety of unmanned aircraft flight.
- The procedure for appointment of the operator of a drone and its competence determined by this Code and aviation regulations, unless otherwise established by the President of the Republic of Belarus.
